Valentines Day!

Being our first Valentines day married I wanted to have a very romantic day! So I planned out our whole day! (because if I didn't I knew Chantz wouldn't :)First Chantz was awaken by a text message at 7 in the morning telling him to go to the office. There he found some goodies and then his next clue that sent him to his parents house, and then on to the barn, his truck, the old cabin and then back to our house! It took him a good 2 hours and by the time he got back I had heart shaped cinnamon rolls ready to eat! Then came the real present of the day... our MASSAGES!! This obviously was my idea, and after the innitial shock of laying naked under a sheet, chantz said he really loved it and the hour seemed to go by in a matter of minuets! After our massages, I brought a little picnic lunch that we ate and then we headed back home and took a nice afternoon nap. Then for the evening I prepared a nice dinner of salad, chicken cordon blue, homemade rolls, and then for dessert some chocolate dipped strawberries and white chocolate rasberry cheesecake. I had fun finding foods that I could make look like hearts! Now I can't take all the credit, chantz did make me a beautiful shelf (which I will post one of these days) and a Scentsy burner which I have wanted forever! So anyway I loved how our day went and hope everyone else had a lovely V day!

These were the cute cinnamon rolls I made.

And here is our little picnic with cute little
heart sandwiches, red drinks, and cute
little dessert cookies I made.

Here is my favorite spinach salad with the yummy sugar roasted almonds and the works.
(and notice the homemade heart croutons I made :) )

This is the white chocolate rasberry cheesecake. When I dropped little dollops of the rasberry sauce and then pulled a toothpick through them they turned into hearts! On top of being so cute it was a freakin good cheesecake!

And of course the classic chocolate dipped strawberries. I had been really craving these and this was just the perfect occasion to make them!

My First Post!

So, I started this blog and it has been sitting here empty for months cuz I kept wanting to go back and post a bunch of wedding pics and update everyone but I'm not going to do that because I will never get it done. I'm just going to start where we are at and maybe someday go back to all the other stuff.
So this is where we are today. I am 25 weeks or about 6 1/2 months along with our little girl who is due May 18th! Yes I know I'm sure some of you are looking at our wedding date and then counting on your fingers if it all adds up but, yes we were only married for over a month when this little surprise popped up! But we are excited now and looking forward to this new adventure in our life!! If you have any name ideas please tell me because I have been at a loss for ideas!

So along with Chantz finishing his last semester of school this winter, and work, this has been the other entertainment of our life. Chantz gave me another baby girl for christmas! I guess he thought I wasn't happy with the one I already have :) I was so excited! A pony has been on my christmas list since I was a little girl never thinking it would actually happen and when I opened a curry comb christmas morning I still didn't believe it until they took me to the barn to see my new baby! We finally named her the other day after just calling her baby, we named her Brandi because she is classy but very spunky ( like the drink :) ) But so far she has been very fun to get to know and have her get used to us, the only bad thing is that we are keeping her in the barn for the winter so that is also where she uses the bathroom. And being a baby she still lays down to sleep so she is always covered in her crap which is really strong for some reason, so whenever we go to visit her we smell like really strong horse crap for the rest of the day!

Here is another new thing in our life. This is our brand new home that we moved into right after we got married in July 2008. I have loved having a brand new home even with all the work that comes with it! Chantz was also so great when there wasn't feet of snow in our yard he'd come home after a long day of landscaping and landscape our yard! When the snow melts I'll have to put another picture up, but here is our little homestead in Driggs!
